A fulfilling sunday it was. Took a long journey to Katong and Parkway Parade, but then the effort was worthwhile. Love the time spent different from my usual slacking sunday. I felt reluctant when he suggested Orchard. Was it a good sign that I'm sick with town?? Probably not, maybe I got nothing to buy in mind.
Walked along the Tanjong Katong street and found the street lamps were different from others. Unique. After a few shots, he pointed to the sky and I saw the beautiful sun setting down..Not much local there, mostly ''hard-poked man'' and ''ah tiongs''. Had our so call dinner at 328 Katong laksa. I still prefer my the stall at my neighbourhood. hiak. Got mum rice dumplings! Was my objective to go Katong. Felt so lucky that we found the shop without knowing the exact location of it. Then, the last station was Parkway. This was the first time I'm to the shopping mall ever since it was renovated. haha. Bought a sweetie bear towel at Isetan as it's on sale. Fish Mart Sakuraya, a shop that sells products imported from Japan. Shall try their sashimi next round when I'm there.
