From our past experiences, we knew the town and vivocity will be crowded with couples and becauseI longed to go Sunset Way, so we had our dinner at Megumi on 14 Feb. =)
Bb stayed in the office to do sat feeds so I got little time to catch up with PZ and met her at City Hall. The moment I got off the train station's gate, I knew my decision for the venue of our dinner is very right.
The whole station was cramped with couples. Breathless.
We didn't expect the restaurant was packed too! Waited for some time then we got an al fresco table but in between other diners.
The sashimi (salmon,maguro,yellow tail) were not up to our standard. The hokubee beef was kinda nice though I felt over-priced, I loved the sukiyaki and I almost finished up the soup base the very first time! Last but not least, chawanmushi. Hmmmpphhh...delicious, it really melted once the egg was put into my mouth.
Bb doesn't wanna visit the place again because of the poor service - very S.L.O.W. But, I don't mind having the sukiyaki and chawanmushi again. All I hope the waiting time won't be so sucky for my next visit.
