Went for Kangxi exhibition again last Friday, still admission free but this time with 2 couples, JF & Kai and Jeff & Anna. Have a better look on the exhibition's items and narrations which then I understand Qing dynasty more. I always mix up with Yongzheng and Qianlong. Finally, I know who are they and how they are related to each other. =D
Before going for the exhibition, I met up with PZ for yoga. Yippie~ at last got to go yoga classes. The class was good, thou many of the styles I couldn't do it. The class might appear tough, but both of us kinda like it. Wanna to go for 2nd time, yet the timing this week isn't good. Anyway, we had aches around our abs for couple of days. Good workout, or it's telling us long time never exercise? I hope I can do some workout - get rid the stubborn fats, get rid the poison, at least once a week. With PZ's help, I think it won't be too difficult to achieve.
And then, it was Sunday. Got up super early to SAVH, bring the patients to Mount Faber and start the walk all the way to Hort Park. The journey was long I guess, especially the Forest Walk. Nonetheless, it was a very meaningful event and the scenaries were worthwhile. Took quite a handful of random photos, when I was assigned to be the camera-woman for the day. 2 cameras in one hand and another holding paper fan weren't easy to control. Hort Park is beautiful, but someone was able to find flaws. Dr Wong started to look around those plantations and find the vertical gardens need some better sytems in order to grow beautiful plants, which I totally agreed.
The event ended pretty early. We had lunch at Ikea. I had the salmon, which wasn't filling enough. Weird, Swedish's appetite so small? Kai ordered the chicken wings, basically we were there 'cos she's has the wings crave. Dar and I shared one of the wings, sad to say we still find Linden's thai fish sauce-deep fried-wings still the best!
As usual or as expected, we headed to Kai's house to see her a year ago wedding video and photoshoot. It's kind of interesting to look back videos / photos again. Somehow, if you're lucky you might be able to spot new things!
